+  The Cosmic Tree of Immortality
Believing a myth to be true comes only from a lack of understanding the roots of the myth itself. The cosmic tree has been immortalized in the heavens, written in the stars, and replicated symbolically all throughout antiquity. These symbols include (but are surely not limited to) the Christian Cross, the Yggdrasil tree, the Sephiroth, the axis of the earth, the caduceus, the Christmas tree, the male phallic, and fertility worship.

Andrew Rutajit - On Religion

I’ve heard there are two ways of truly finding oneself – Religion and Revelation. However, religion will never be complete within you until you complete it within yourself…that’s a revelation; religion alone lends itself to too much faith.

Our Lady of Light

I have such affection toward alchemy; yet, at times, I find it to be a seemingly endless rabbit hole. However, there are parallels between Alchemy and most religious symbolism and philosophy. Finding these parallels will surely provide nothing more than an "Ah-Ha moment" but sometimes those moments can lead to bigger things.

Alchemy - Uniting the Polarities

Problem and solution; for every polarity, there is a bridge that will guide you safely from one side to the other (even if that other side is death itself). Alchemy serves as a compass when seeking these bridges.

Truth, Karma, and the Restitution of Balance

Karma does not know anger, Karma only knows balance. Karma, the Great Mother of the Mysteries, will not allow you to escape the consequences of your own actions; eternal punishment will teach you nothing.

Truth Must be Experienced

Searching for the truth is a life-long devotion; it is not something that can be handed to you in a word or a sentence or in a book. Truth is an understanding that only the observer can comprehend. Living your life in love with truth and influencing truth upon others can be quite difficult when popular belief and truth are on opposite sides of the same coin.

Materialism

You are groomed from birth to be a consumer. Just like the programs on your computer tell the computer what to do, the programs on your television are telling you what to to. Your purpose in live as a consumer (or rather, your purpose in the lives of certain others) is to feel compelled to buy things that you don’t necessarily need or even want.

2006 Winter Olympic Games - Opening Ceremonies

Anyone who is a fan of ceremonies and rituals like me probably watched this event from beginning to end. What I did see was fantastic.

The Real Men in Black

This article is a light-hearted explanation of my understanding (thanks to Jordan Maxwell) of the real to life Men In Black. I say this is to be light-hearted because if you take all this too seriously, you could end up in a bell-tower somewhere, praying to Xenu that your rifle doesn't jam.

The Birth of the Risen Savior

The sun...quite literally our savior; without it, there would be no life on this planet. Its annual cycle will sound familiar to all Christians and many non-Christians also.

When is Easter this year?

I don’t remember how old I was when I figured it out, but I was quite young and ever since, it has really bugged me that Christians need to see marshmallow Peeps and chocolate bunnies at the store to remind them that Easter is a month away.

The Da Vinci Code - The Silent Alarm

It seems as though every time Jan and I mention the contents of our book or video (both of which address the Holy Grail, what we suggest it is, and where it can be found), it never fails someone will ask if we have read or seen the Da Vinci Code.

Death of Pope John Paul II

Pope John Paul IIs body will rest in three coffins, one inside the other. Surely, the three chambers are symbolic of the Masonic 3, but there is SO much more to what is happening here. The two inner coffins relate to Alchemy (made from Cypress and the other Zinc), and the outer coffin relating to Shamanism (made from Fir).

Andrew Rutajit - On Finding Yourself

Know Yourself - These words were the driving force of Socrates. Many of the Gnostic texts begin by saying that when you have come to know yourself, you will have come to know God. Or, that the kingdom of God is inside you and when you know yourself you will find it.

Have Yourself a Psychedelic Little Christmas

The story of Santa is very old, and most countries today still celebrate the winter solstice in strange, but similar ways. In the middle ages, Santa was a Shaman, and you can easily find many similarities between the Shaman of the past and our Christmas traditions of today.

Reincarnation - The Gospel Truth

When we die, what is it that is gone that was once here? Call me crazy, but just can't be an atheist...my answer is our spirit…our soul. I think things are a bit over simplified today, however. No one knows what happens when we die, and this black hole in knowledge is often used as a tool by the Church.

The Serpent - Climbing the Tree of Knowledge

Throughout history, the snake has been recognized as a regenerative power, as an evil spirit, as a god of good, as Christ (by the Gnostics), as a solar deity, as a phallic deity, and as a god of death.

Dance With the One That Brought You

Many plants/fungi have been used in ceremony for spiritual purposes throughout the evolution of this planet and this connection continues to this very day. Recently, the usage of these plants has been condemned and the practitioners have been demonized, either being slaughtered (past) or incarcerated (today). This article was built upon notes taken from a two day workshop at the California Institute of Integral Studies in 1995 given by the late Terence McKenna as well as other thoughts and ideas from myself and Terence McKenna.

Dancing with the Devil

Please understand that I do not worship any deity. I believe in a historical (physical) Lucifer just as much as I believe in a historical Jesus; which is to say, I don’t believe in a historical Lucifer at all. However, if a “Lord of Darkness” does exist, the most deceitful act he ever carried out was to convince humankind that he is the heavenly-enthroned, almighty God.

Be Fruitful and Multiply

Spring is in the air and the fertility rites and rituals are abounding. These rites and rituals are the veins, which lead directly to the heart of our very own sexual history; the fertility rites have had an influence on sex just as much as sex has influenced the fertility rites.

Dreaming While Awake – The Duality of Consciousness

We spend one third of our human experience sleeping. I’ve discussed the idea of nightly DMT production resulting in dreaming and internal visionary experiences; but what do we use these dreams for?
