A vestibule is a passageway leading from the outer door to the inner Shrine. The entrance to the great cathedrals and mystery schools were often guarded by gargoyles and adorned with mysterious symbols intended to frighten away those who were simply curious. This book, like a vestibule itself, is intended to serve as an introduction to a larger body of work.
